Vision : After lots of ups and down to USA economy, still USA is leading provider over half of the outsourcing business to the world. That could be threat to Indian economy as BPO domain have direct impact of USA economy. If we see positive part of outsourcing in India’s favor then its Europe and Asia pacific outsourcing numbers. Due to cost effectiveness and self dependency of technology domain India can offer them cost effective solutions too. Here I wold also like to mention that Manila and China is working hard to improve their road blocks like language [ Accent ] and Infrastructure.
Size of Globa Outsourcing Marketl

2005 234
2008 (est.) 310
Vision: After checking this Outsourcing awareness matrix I find that there is huge scope for quality BPO companies in India to grow. Here I would like to say ” Quality BPO Companies” because many call centers starts and wind up in India on a regular bases without proper certification , branding, documentation and infrastructure awareness.
Average Outsourcing Cost per employee
Country Cost (USD/yr)
USA 19,000
Australia 17,000
Philippines 9,050 [ 2008 onwards]
India 9,500
Vision: Finally we got some one who compete India in the cost. However I would say Philippines still need to work in cost effectiveness. Its good news for USA that they do not need to depend on only one country India for his outsourcing needs. Philippines provide good resource for voice base projects due to English and accent compatibility according to requirement for maintain quality standards, however to manage it with knowledge base services they still have scope of improvement.
